Las Vegas Aces star reaches a major milestone during a standout season, making WNBA history with unprecedented speed.

A’ja Wilson scored 22 points and became the fastest player in WNBA history to 5,000 points as the Las Vegas Aces beat the Connecticut Sun 85-59.

Wilson took the WNBA by storm after a successful college career at South Carolina. She won a women's NCAA championship in 2017 and was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player that year, and she also earned AP Player of the Year, Naismith College Player of the Year and John R. Wooden Award honors as a senior in 2018.
