Rodriguez, 40, of Woodbury, died Sunday after falling off a rented pontoon into White Bear Lake around 2:30 p.m., said Cmdr. Tim Harris of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The woman who drowned in White Bear Lake after jumping off a pontoon on Sunday has been identified as Beverly Rodriguez, 40, a sergeant with the Metro Transit Police Department.

Officers, TRIP agents and Metro Transit’s Homeless Action Team increased their presence along University Avenue in St. Paul.
