Newsmax on Monday agreed to pay $67 million to Dominion Voting Systems in a defamation suit against the conservative media company over 2020 election coverage.

Newsmax has agreed to pay $67 million to settle a defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems, which accused the conservative network of spreading false claims about Donald Trump 's 2020 election loss, according to court documents filed Monday.

Dominion had accused Newsmax of broadcasting "verifiably false lies" following President Joe Biden's victory in 2020.
