Manchester City have completed the signing of Rayan Cherki from French club Lyon for €36.5million (£30.9m, $41.7m). The 21-year-old France international has signed a five-year contract until 2030. He will be available to play for Pep Guardiola’s side at the upcoming Club World Cup in the United States.

Rayan Cherki has become Manchester City ’s third signing in two days after finalising a €37m move from Lyon. The midfielder has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium, after agreeing personal terms and passing a medical, and joins Rayan Ait-Nouri and Marcus Bettinelli in the new-look City squad.
