A rockslide that blocked both directions of State Route 11/Chuckanut Drive in Bow on Tuesday morning may take up to a week or longer to clear, according to the Washington State Patrol.
State Route 11, also known as Chuckanut Drive, remains fully closed just north of Blanchard Road after a rockslide occurred just before 9 a.m. The slide is about 150 feet long by 30 feet deep.
The rockslide stands more than 20 feet high with large boulders, according to a post from Washington State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding. The slide did not reach or impact the train tracks nearby.

A rockslide that appears roughly 20 feet tall occurred on Chuckanut Drive, near Pigeon Point and the Oyster Dome trailhead. State Route 11 (SR 11) is completely blocked off in this area as a result.
