James Maddison is expected to miss the remainder of Spurs' season due to the knee injury he picked up against Bodo/Glimt last week.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou says James Maddison’s knee injury is “not looking promising” after he missed Sunday’s draw with West Ham United. Maddison, 28, was forced off during the second half Thursday’s Europa League win over Bodo/Glimt.

Maddison walked off the pitch under his own power, but Postecoglou said afterwards that he was going to have a scan on his knee to assess the extent of his injury. While Ange didn’t elaborate on the result of the scan, which presumably is now complete, he made it sound as though Maddison could be out a while.
