NFL free agency has gone by in a blur, as many of the top free agents agreed to terms immediately when the legal tampering period began March 10. Once the new league year began March 12, pen was put to paper and the top free agents were immediately off the board.

When the the Minnesota Vikings lost Sam Darnold to the Seattle Seahawks and Daniel Jones to the Indianapolis Colts in free agency this week, it created an odd quarterback question that should have already had an ironclad answer.

Earlier this offseason, the New York Jets made the tough decisionto cut quarterback Aaron Rodgers. New York signed free agent quarterback Justin Fields to a two-year deal shortly after, but Rodgers remains a free agent.
