Strong winds and dry conditions are fueling wildfires and increasing threats across Texas.Climate researchers have said the ingredients are in place for a wildfire threat North Texas hasn't seen in at least 10 years.

High winds and dry weather fueled wildfires in Oklahoma and Texas, with winds so strong they toppled several semis.

AccuWeather's Jon Porter warns of an extreme fire danger for western Texas and the southwestern Plains. Dry weather and wind gusts of 40-80 mph will create dangerous conditions for fires.

Temperatures will be in the low 50s for most areas, with thickening clouds everywhere by the early morning hours on Sunday.

Although the threat of severe thunderstorms is low, strong winds are expected to be whipping across the state on Sunday.

The National Weather Service is warning of another round of potentially severe weather Saturday afternoon and evening.
