Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on Ukrainian troops in the Russian region of Kursk to surrender, as diplomatic back-and-forth continues over a potential US-brokered ceasefire with Ukraine.

President Vladimir Putin has visited the western Russian region of Kursk for the first time since Ukrainian forces seized some territory in the region.

Russia President, Vladimir Putin has warned Ukrainian troops in Kursk to surrender or die. Putin gave the warning at a news conference on Thursday while addressing the situation in Kursk. This comes after his visit to the region on Wednesday while dressed in camouflage after Russia’s military continued its advances on the front.
