The Kentucky Wildcats men’s basketball team has officially signed Reece Potter, a 7-foot-1 center who played his first two collegiate seasons at Miami (OH), head coach Mark Pope announced on Thursday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Kentucky men’s basketball team added some verticality to its 2025-26 roster with the signing of Reece Potter, a 7-foot-1 center who played his first two collegiate seasons at Miami (OH), it was announced by head coach Mark Pope on Thursday.

Mark Pope will roll out four Bluegrass natives on next season’s Kentucky men’s basketball team. Of course, that was the expectation from the moment the 2024-25 season ended, but for about two weeks, there were “only” three in-state products.
