Mark Pope and Kentucky basketball landed a transfer portal commitment from Reece Potter, a former star for Lexington Catholic High School.

According to KSR’s Matt Jones, Kentucky beat out the Washington Huskies and North Carolina Tar Heels for the RedHawks transfer. The Huskies reportedly made a big offer for Potter. Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels prioritized Potter in his recruitment process, but the Lexington native grew up a big Wildcats fan and ultimately chose Kentucky.
