Adam Gaudette has been the Ottawa Senators’ nicest surprise. A two-goal effort in Wednesday’s 4-3 win over the San Jose Sharks to kick off the Senators’ trip through California moved Gaudette into a tie with captain Brady Tkachuk for the team lead in goals with 11 so far this season.
