Kenya's inflation edged up to 2.8% year-on-year in November, from 2.7% a month earlier, the statistics office said on Friday. On a monthly basis, inflation was 0.3% compared with 0.2% in October, the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement.

Germany's inflation rate rose for the second consecutive month in November, climbing 2.2% above the level of the same month last year, according to provisional figures from the Federal Statistical Office.

German inflation remained flat in November despite expectations of a second consecutive increase interrupting the downward trend in Europe's troubled largest economy. Inflation stayed at 2.4%, the federal statistics office said on Thursday.

Germany preliminary estimates showed inflation expected to increase to 2.20% in November from 2% in October of 2024. The Consumer Price Index decreased 0.20% in November of 2024 over the previous month.
