A 15-year-old was attempting to rob a man in his 20s, who has a concealed pistol license and was armed, when the teen was fatally shot, police said.

At 10:57 a.m., police received calls of shots fired and one possibly down in the 3800 block of Bewick Street, Deputy Chief Arnold Williams said during a media briefing. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two people in the street who had been fatally shot.

An argument over money turned into a shooting on the city's east side on Thursday that left two people injured and one arrested.
