Mick Fleetwood, Carnie Wilson, Elton John and more are sharing tributes to Brian Wilson following the death of the legendary Beach Boys cofounder.

Mike Love exclusively tells PEOPLE that he and late Beach Boys bandmate Brian Wilson are "inseparable" both in "life and afterlife" ahead of the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony on June 12.

John Stamos was by Beach Boys founding member Mike Love's side when news of bandmate Brian Wilson's death on Wednesday was made public. The "Full House" star was also the messenger who delivered the heartbreaking news to Love,

“Brian Wilson was always so kind to me from the day I met him,” John said. “He sang ‘Someone Saved My Life Tonight’ at a tribute concert in 2003, and it was an extraordinary moment for me. I played on his solo records, he sang on my album, The Union, and even performed for my AIDS Foundation.

Brian Wilson and his family were open about his health, from his needing a conservatorship for his dementia to his battle with substance use.

"This album never got finished and these tracks will live on my drive in obscurity, but they’re really great," Jonathan Wilson wrote.
