Jane's Addiction is suing Perry Farrell and Farrell is suing the other Jane's members over the 2024 onstage altercation that wound up deep-sixing the band.

"History will remember the band as suffering a swift and painful death at the hands of Farrell’s unprovoked anger and complete lack of self-control," the suit said.

Dave Navarro is accusing Perry Farrell of assault and battery in a lawsuit filed on Wednesday, July 16 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The musician filed the civil complaint against his fellow Jane's Addiction band member following the September 2024 onstage incident.
