The Browns have parted ways with Ogbo Okoronkwo after just two seasons and have signed another kicker with training camp nearing

Okoronkwo, 30, was signed by Cleveland prior to the 2023 season and seen as one of their bigger offseason transactions that year. The former Los Angeles Ram and Houston Texan outside linebacker was expected to help provide a bookend with All-Pro Myles Garrett in Jim Schwartz's aggressive defensive scheme.

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns have released edge rusher Ogbo Okoronkwo, who spent the past two seasons with the club, and signed kicker Andre Szmyt. Okoronkwo, 30, had one year left on the three-year, $19 million deal he signed with the Browns as a free agent in 2023.
