SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 112-111, at Jon M. Huntsman Center in the 2025 Salt Lake City Summer League on Monday.
Memphis is replacing two of the NBA's best 3-point shooters in Desmond Bane and Luke Kennard. Spencer, who was a noted 3-point shooter coming out of college in 2024, is looking like a player ready to help fill that void.
Brice Sensabaugh emerged as the biggest star from Monday at the Salt Lake Summer League. The Utah Jazz guard produced 37 points in the 112-111 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. Sensabaugh helped the Jazz outduel a Grizzlies team that had three 20-point scorers, including GG Jackson, who led the team with 27 points.
After a disappointing debut, Ace Bailey redeemed himself in his second Summer League game, with a little bit of support from his new head coach, Will Hardy.
The main on-court event on the NBA summer calendar begins Thursday when the Las Vegas Summer League tips off from Sin City. There are seven games on Thursday's slate, including a matchup between Cooper Flagg's Dallas Mavericks and Bronny James' Los Angeles Lakers.
