Ruben Amorim insisted that Marcus Rashford ’s return to form is good news for Manchester United. Rashford earned an England recall after a year out of the international picture and started twice for new manager against Thomas Tuchel before opening his Aston Villa account with a double in Sunday's 3-0 win over Preston in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Ruben Amorim aimed a thinly-veiled dig at Marcus Rashford before distancing himself from the possibility of the forward returning to Manchester United this summer. The England international was frozen out of the United team by Amorim who repeatedly questioned Rashford’s efforts in training before giving the green light to a January loan move to Aston Villa.
