New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers is active for Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts after being taken off the commissioner exempt list this week amid his ongoing domestic violence and drug case.

Peppers was dropped from the Commissioner’s Exempt List and reinstated by the NFL earlier in the week. He hasn’t played since the team’s Week 4 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile, Wise has missed the last two games due to a foot injury.

Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was removed from the NFL’s commissioner’s exempt list, the league announced Monday. Peppers was placed on the list on Oct. 9, four days after being arrested and pleading not guilty on assault, strangulation and drug charges. Peppers is scheduled to go to trial on Jan. 22.
