"Ground and air resources will continue to aggressively battle the fire throughout the day," Cal Fire officials said.

Firefighters are working to contain a grass fire that has burned dozens of acres on the southern end of El Dorado County on Wednesday. Cal Fire's incidents webpage shows the Coyote Fire has burned about 60 acres in the Coyoteville area, about 21 miles southeast of Placerville.

Firefighters continue to work on the ground and in the air to contain the Coyote Fire, a wildland blaze burning in remote, steep terrain in the Omo Ranch area of southern El Dorado County.
