Key opening men's matches at Wimbledon have an Italian flavour in the form of world number one Jannik Sinner facing compatriot Luca Nardi while Spanish twice reigning champion Carlos Alcaraz also has Italian opposition in veteran Fabio Fognini.

Just days before he begins his Wimbledon campaign, Carlos Alcaraz already knows that no matter what happens, he won’t be able to surpass World No. 1 Jannik Sinner.

The draw for Wimbledon, which gets underway on Monday, June 30, is out. Almost all the top players are taking part in the tournament, with second-seed Carlos Alcaraz of Spain being the favorite.
