Metro leaders were altered late Dec. 24 , that pipes in the building burst, threatening to damage network equipment that remains housed at the agency’s former HQ.

More than 65 percent of customers access metro.net from a mobile device, so the website has been re-engineered to ensure trip planning requires fewer clicks while remaining readable on a small screen.

Metro Transit riders who turn to the Transit app to get information about when their bus will come or plan a trip can do so now without having to pay a subscription fee.

As a result, Metro says “trip planning data may experience intermitted outages, incorrect data” for the system’s bus and rail arrival information.
