The 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo kicks off this Friday, July 23. The games this year will still be referred to as Tokyo 2020.

The swimming competitions at the Tokyo Olympics run from Saturday, July 24 through Saturday, July 31 Eastern time. The first six days feature both a morning and evening session each day.
