Washington Nationals catcher Keibert Ruiz was placed on the 10-day injured list a day after getting struck on the head by a foul ball off the bat of teammate Josh Bell while in the dugout.

Keibert Ruiz was in the wrong place at the wrong time. And because of it, the Washington Nationals catcher is injured. Talk Nats reported on Tuesday that Ruiz is going to be placed on the seven-day concussion injured list. Ruiz needed a head CT scan after he was hit by a foul ball in the head while in the Nationals dugout.
