South Africa will be without Wiaan Mulder for the remainder of the ongoing first Test against Sri Lanka in Durban as well as the next fixture in Gqeberha after the allrounder suffered a fractured right middle finger.

South Africa have called up batsman Matthew Breetzke as a replacement for Wiaan Mulder after the all-rounder was ruled out of the remainder of the two-test series against Sri Lanka due to a broken finger.

Wiaan Mulder has been ruled out from the rest of the Sri Lanka series after fracturing his right middle finger while batting in the first innings in the first innings. Matthew Breetzke has been added to the squad as a replacement.
