Rick Moranis returns to live-action in Spaceballs 2, reprising his iconic role as Dark Helmet in the sci-fi comedy sequel—his first major film role in over 25 years, from Amazon MGM Studios.
Rick Moranis, who quit acting in 1997 after the death of his wife to take care of his two children, is set to reprise his role in the sequel of the 1987 movie, Spaceballs, according to People Magazine.
Deadline reports that original stars Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis are both expected to return for Spaceballs 2, which is coming to theaters in 2027. Keke Palmer ( Nope) is also expected to star in the film, along with Josh Gad.
