The Predator franchise just made one of the boldest moves ever with its new ending for the animated feature Killer of Killers.

Predator: Killer of Killers ended with a tease of where the franchise could go next, and as it turns out, that’s not the full ending.

Over the course of eight Predator movies, 11 humans have been able to kill the titular alien hunters, despite them putting up a good fight.

Friday at San Diego Comic-Con offered fans a rare opportunity to hear from two of the people primarily responsible for major franchises, in the same place, on the same day. And that’s exactly what happened in both the Alien: Earth and Predator: Badlands panels, which both took place in Hall H.

Predator: Badlands centers on Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), a young-and-hungry Yautja warrior who is the runt of the litter in his clan and has a whole lot to prove.
