Someone in New Jersey was close to winning the $526 million Powerball jackpot on Monday, according to lottery officials. A ticket sold in the Garden State matched five numbers drawn, earning the ticketholder $1 million.

The New Jersey Lottery has made yet another millionaire. A $1 million Powerball ticket from the Monday, Aug. 11 Powerball drawing was sold in the Garden State. According to NJ Advance Media, the ticket was sold at Minit Mart on the 300 block of Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights.

Four third-prize Powerball lottery tickets were sold in New Jersey on Saturday — two worth $100,000 and two worth $50,000. The $100,000 tickets were purchased at the Exxon gas station on Naughtright Road in Hackettstown, Warren County and Flavor Mart & More on Garden Street in Carlstadt, Bergen County, lottery officials said.
