TORONTO — It’s quite possible that Jon Gray has thrown his last pitch in a Texas Rangers uniform. The Rangers placed Gray on the 15-day injured list Sunday with right shoulder nerve irritation. Rangers manager Bruce Bochy confirmed later that the veteran right-hander has thoracic outlet syndrome.

No team was willing to assume the rest of the approximately $3 million left on the 33-year-old right-hander's contract.

The Texas Rangers had enough of Jon Gray after his performance against the Toronto Blue Jays, and he doesn't know where he'll go next.
