New Dallas Cowboys receiver George Pickens knows his past follows him to The Star, but he's determined to prove the skeptics wrong.

News of the Pittsburgh Steelers trading 24-year-old wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys broke early Wednesday morning, and believe it or not, Pickens himself found out when it became public on social media.

Pickens, who was traded to the Cowboys on Wednesday in exchange for a package including a 2026 third-round pick, spoke to the Dallas media about his new teammates on a Thursday conference call. Pickens told reporters that Prescott was one of the first people who reached out to him following the trade, per ESPN's Todd Archer.
