Fox Sports laid off anchor Joy Taylor on Monday months after she was named in a sexual-battery lawsuit. Taylor had co-hosted the show Speak on its cable network, FS1, alongside former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson and former NBA player Paul Pierce since 2022.

Speak, which was hosted by Joy Taylor and featured co-hosts Keyshawn Johnson and NBA player Paul Pierce, was one of the shows The Athletic reported was axed on July 14. The outlet also stated that the network cut the morning shows The Facility and Breakfast Ball.

Portnoy and Barstool Sports are expected to play a part in FS1's coverage in the near future. Front Office Sports' Ryan Glasspiegel reported that Portnoy is nearing a deal with the channel that would see him join its college football pregame program, "Big Noon Kickoff."
