Tensions escalated sharply on June 23 after Iran launched a missile strike on the US-run Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, prompting Doha to declare it “reserves the right to respond.” Iran claimed the attack was a response to US strikes on its nuclear sites but insisted it posed no threat to Qatar.

The US embassy in Qatar has also lifted its shelter-in-place order and said operations will resume as normal on Tuesday.

In a statement, Air India said the flights to Europe reinstated from Tuesday and the services to the East Coast of the US, Canada will resume at the earliest.
