WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a teenage girl was shot and killed in Northeast D.C. Wednesday evening. Investigators tell WUSA9 that the shooting appears to be accidentally self-inflicted. According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 1700 block of Benning Road NE shortly after 5:15 p.m.
The bill would prohibit noncitizens from voting in district elections and repeal a law allowing noncitizen residents of Washington, D.C., to vote in such elections.
