Ubisoft says the newest Assassin's Creed game has now surpassed three million players. Ubisoft is continuing to trumpet the success of Assassin's Creed Shadows, saying today that the game has now surpassed three million players a week after its release.

Much to Shadow's credit, reaching 3 million players in such a short span is no small feat. This proves that while the controversy surrounding the recent game might have cost Ubisoft some respect, in contrast, it helped pique an interest in players to check what all the fuss was about.
