Amarr Knox's layup with a second left lifted Alabama State to its first NCAA Tournament win, 70-68 over Saint Francis (PA) in a matchup of No. 16 seeds at the First Four.

A pair of No. 16 seeds, the Alabama State Hornets and Saint Francis Red Flash battled for the right to play No. 1 overall seed Auburn. The game looked headed for overtime, all tied up at 68 apiece with 3.4 seconds remaining, with Alabama State inbounding and having to go the length of the floor.

Amarr Knox grabbed a loose ball on a length-of-the-court heave and put in the game-winning layup with one second remaining to lift Alabama State to a thrilling 70-68 win over Saint Francis Tuesday night in the First Four.
